Hiking is my meditation. Walk. Eat. Sleep. Repeat.
And in between: Wonder. Wonder why you can always do at least one more step. Wonder why everything around you is so beautiful that it makes you cry. Wonder why all of this can never be captured properly in any image.
At last: Still attempt to capture it, because you have no choice. I have no choice.
I grew up in a small town in Southern Germany. Visiting family, I found my love for the sea almost two decades ago. The cold and gray North Sea made my heart sing and since then, I keep longing for the sea breeze and the feeling of freedom that comes with it. Mountains on the other hand have somehow always been a part of my life. Still, my passion for hiking didn’t kick off until 2016, when I traversed the Alps on foot. There, inspired by the majesty of mountains and the gentle touch of light and clouds, I discovered landscape photography. I might not be the typical landscape photographer, getting up in the middle of the night just to capture the perfect sunrise from a mountain top. But I love capturing what I find along the way, collecting memories and photos at the same time.
Oslo is my base camp since 2016. Want to write me a letter? email@example.com
